We had a chance to work on 1800Local on 2012. We loved it since the beginning.
We had a lot of creative freedom on the design and this is always a incentive for creatives to do their best.
We was highly inspired by cartoons moderns and from them we begun to elaborate something new.
In our private library we have this amazing book about cartoon moderns.

We also wanted to put something about the brand on the character, so we tried to elaborate the character starting form the numbers : 1, 8, 0.
This was how Tim born. His body shape remember the number 1.
There was just one background, a street with few shops.
At the beginning the backgrounds was in grayscale, but after we decided that colours would add more deepness and luminosity.
With the bkg we also worked on the props.
